Be attentive – by the contemplation of Bhagwan no breath will be useless

Moment by moment your life span is getting reduced. Be cautious. So get used to contemplating Bhagwan all the time. If you will remain thinking of Bhagwan, then you will have constant peace and happiness in this world as well as bliss in the next world. If you get trapped giving every day over to everyday affairs, then, when you’ll come to your senses, you will be remorseful. If every moment is not put to good use, then all the time you will spend thus. Drop by drop a pot becomes emptied. Breath by breath your life span is passing. Be attentive - by remembering Bhagwan no breath will be useless.

tatkathanaM tachchintanaM anyonyaM tatprabodhanam .
etadekaparatvaM cha brahmaabhyaasaM vidurbudhaaH ..

Speaking only about That, thinking deeply only about That,
awakening each other by mutual conversation and depending entirely on That with no interest in anything else,
this is Brahmabhyasa (meditation on Brahman).
Panchadasi 7:106

[Guru  Dev paraphrases this verse, quoted from ‘Panchasi’, a book of instructions for those following the path of Vedanta.]
‘Praying and reciting stotras (hymns praising the aspects of divinity) in connection to Bhagwan and narrating tales of His leelas, ‘divine plays’, reflecting on his divine form, and holding mutual conversations related to him alone – performance of these in a continuous manner is the very form of exercise.’

About this Bhagwan (Krishna) said:-

machchita madgatapraaNaa bodhayantaH parsparam .
kathayantashcha maaM nityaM tushhyanti cha ramanti cha ..

The thoughts of My pure devotees dwell in Me, their lives are fully devoted to My service,
and they derive great satisfaction and bliss from always enlightening one another and conversing about Me.
Bhagavad Gita ch10:v9

[and Guru  Dev paraphrases this verse from Bhagavad Gita too]
‘With their minds fully engaged in me, even with their lives devoted in me – that is to say, remembering me in their every breath and singing only my glory, devotees relish in me and remain content in my devotion.’
