In 1973, Swami Swaroopanand ordered the construction of another peeth, at the site of Trotacharya's Gupha. The two peeths are run by different swamis with different followers, the older math run by Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati,  and the newer, grander building, run by Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati.
